**** and his brides returned to their original places with Gambit restrained, Mirage and Karma watching him and the other ladies camping outside of the room. Psylocke and the others were unaware of the transgressions thanks to Mirage’s illusions keeping their actions hidden. They settled in for the morning when they would know whether or not they would be able to enter Utopia proper.

**** was prepared to make it a fight when he was marched out by Karma to meet with Psylocke and Dazzler, but he put on his Remy charm in case the ruse continued to hold.

“G’mornin’, Cheres… I hope you rested well!” Remy greeted with his cocksure grin.

“A might better than you, I suppose,” Psylocke replied, giving the disheveled X-man a look over. She didn’t immediately go on guard, which was a good sign for ****.

“How’s he look?” Dazzler asked, checking him out as well.

“He appears to be our Remy, but **** can still be suppressed underneath…” Betsy replied. She touched Gambit’s forehead and concentrated. In the background, Mirage concentrated as well, focusing in on Psylocke. She was nowhere near as strong a telepath as the British ninja, but, thanks to the upgraded abilities granted by ****, she was capable of making Psylocke think she was looking into Gambit’s mind instead of ****’s. She just needed to draw on Psylocke’s memory of Gambit’s thoughts.

It was a tense moment as everyone awaited the X-Woman’s verdict. She opened her eyes again and looked at Gambit.

“It seems you have **** fully suppressed again,” she concluded.

“That’s good to hear! So, does that mean you’ll take the collar off?” Remy replied, tugging at the suppression collar. They had reactivated it to keep up with the ruse.

“Not quite yet,” Psylocke answered. “As a precaution.”

“We don’t want **** to suddenly emerge like he has before,” Dazzler added.

Gambit sighed. “I s’pose you all are right… but once I get a clean bill o’ health, I want dis thing off of me!”

“Of course,” Betsy agreed. “How is Ilyana?”

“She’s come around,” Hisako reported. “No signs of concussion and she seems to be doing alright.”

“Good, then let’s head back.”

Illyana returned them directly to Emma’s office where she was expecting them. Betsy had reported in before they arrived. Iceman and Colossus were with her to put Gambit into custody.

“Welcome home, Remy… you’ve caused quite the stir the other day…” Emma greeted.

“Apologies, Madam, I was not myself,” Remy replied, humbly.

“And who are you today?” Emma asked, with a raised eyebrow.

“I’ve given him a scan and he is our Remy,” Betsy informed the leader of the island. “You can give him a look yourself if you wish.”

“Hmph, digging around in that noggin will probably leave me needing a hot shower…” Emma replied. After Remy gave her a suggestive look, she added, “From all the dirt that’s filled in there!”

“I can’t help the way I tink,” Remy grinned.

“Well, hopefully your thoughts for the near future will be your own… dirty or not…” Emma quipped. “With all the trouble your alter ego caused, next time it would be prudent for you to report these existential anomalies to us,” Emma informed him. “We are going to put you under observation until we can determine whether your **** persona is gone for good or if we will have to take measures against him.”

“You’re right, I should have said something,” Remy admitted. “I thought I could handle it on my lonesome, but this is where it led me. I’m sorry for all the trouble…”

“The important thing is you’re safe and nobody got seriously hurt…” Alison said.

“Define serious,” Illyana muttered, rubbing the back of her head.

“My humblest of apologies, Chere,” Gambit told her, taking her hand to kiss.

Illyana sighed. “Just know that if your ugly gray side comes out again, I’m shoving my Soulsword down his gullet!”

The meeting disbanded and Gambit was taken to the brig by Bobby and Piotr.

“So, Remy, how was it spending the night with all those ladies?” Bobby asked him.

“Come now, Bobby, get your mind out of the gutter!” Peter chided.

“I’m just saying… Don’t you think it’s kind of a coincidence that there’s an emergency situation with Gambit and all of a sudden all the girls go chasing after him?’ Bobby replied.

“Lady Frost chose the most suitable candidates for the mission,” Peter said.

“Ah, you’re right!” Bobby agreed, “So Emma set it all up!”

“That’s not what I was saying!” Peter replied.

They put Gambit into a cell but kept the mutant dampening collar on him.

“Sorry we have to do this, friend,” Bobby told him. “But safety protocols.”

“Wouldn’t expect preferential treatment, mon ami,” Gambit replied. “Does that mean you’ll be sticking around to make sure I behave?”

Bobby pointed to a corner of the wall. “Closed caption camera. There’ll be someone monitoring you, in case there’s any trouble. We don’t want another incident like we had with Sabertooth the other day. If anything happens we’ll have people here within seconds!”

“Good to know,” Gambit smiled.

“Be safe, comrade, with good fortune you will be out of here and collar free in no time!” Piotr told him.

He was left alone in the brig until the evening when someone came in to bring him food. He looked over to see who was entering his cell. It was Dani! He remained quiet, in case others were still watching.

“It’s OK, the cameras are off,” Dani informed him.

“Good. Then we can drop this charade,” **** told her in his gravelly tone.

In a flash, Mirage’s illusion disappeared and Gambit had become the pale, blank haired visage of **** once again. Dani Moonstar had gone white as well with blank eyes.

“Beautiful,” **** admired, brushing her hair.

Wordlessly, Dani disrobed and embraced her master. She began to undress him as well as he asked, “How are things on the outside?”

“No one suspects anything,” Dani reported. “We await your orders.” She pulled out his cock and started to stroke and suck it.
