Several months passed until the prince arrived to pick up his soon to be bride. When he did, he saw her belly was round with a pregnancy. The prince was furious, declared he had never been so insulted in his entire life and warned everybody in Luxius to prepare for war.

The royal doctors however, declared that even tho the princess was pregnant, her hymen was still intact. Quickly rumors began to spread that princess Liandra was a holy virgin. Chosen by a god to give birth to a half-god.

When the soldiers of the prince heard this, their morale wavered. If they fought against a holy person, surely the gods would strike them down or punish them in some other way.

The Luxian soldiers on the other hand, fought with great fervor and never feared, never surrendered. And after some months of war, prince Mortimer no longer had a country to be prince of.

Luxius had won the war before Liandra's had even finished her pregnancy. The child was born in a time of peace and Liandra gave birth to a waternimph.

The people rejoiced and considered Luxius been blessed by the god of water himself.

Liandra inherited the throne to Luxius from her father and reigned as a benevolent queen. Luxius saw great prosperity under her rule and her daughter became the most beautifull girl in the entire kingdom.

But when her daughter became of age, she made sure to keep an eye on her. For she was just as naive as her mother.
