Chapter 57 by fantaghiro
What's next?
after school, getting ready for the night out.
These thoughts were still playing on your mind the following day - especially after your attempt to speak with Randall was foiled by the appearance of Mr. Hanson, popping his head around the door after first period Government, wanting a brief word with 'Miss. Card'. Obviously you couldn't just sit there and wait for him to leave like you did the rest of your classmates (not without it seeming really suspicious), so reluctantly you grabbed your stuff and headed past him through the door, cursing his name silently as you went.
Though you didn't stick around too long outside, you did manage to overhear a brief little snippet of their conversation before you left...
"So, you all ready for tonight?" Mr. Hanson asked, "I got us a table booked at this nice little Italian place...You do like Italian don't you?"
"Uh, yeah...I like Italian food just fine," Randall replied, doing his best to sound enthused.
"Great! I thought so, but I just wanted to make sure."
Oh you thought so did you? you mumbled angrily to yourself as you hurried off down the hall, picturing the smug grin painted on his face, Well for your fucking information, Mr. Hanson, the only actual Italian food 'she' ever liked was pizza...or at least it used to be. In truth, Randall seemed to eat all kinds of stuff he never would have touched in the past, having developed Miss. Card's tastes, so hearing now that Hanson was actually planning on taking him to some romantic Italian restaurant you could only hope that those tastes didn't extend to men as well. You could just see it now as you headed towards English lit, Randall inviting Mr. Hanson back to his for 'coffee' and ending up riding his big cock just as hard as the real Miss. Card had ridden John's - their perfectly proportioned, sweaty bodies writhing and heaving in unison as Randall moaned out his name in complete and utter ecstasy before he finally exploded inside him...
Shit! What the hell am I thinking about? you said to yourself, realizing just how much that DVD had caused your mind to run riot - now actually imagining Randall and Mr. Hanson having sex! Shaking the image from your mind, telling yourself that there is no way Randall would do that!, you then started chuckling at how truly ridiculous you were being, as well as how ridiculous these feelings of jealousy really were. Sure, the fact that he was spending time with other people instead of you and you couldn't really be yourselves around each other was certainly cause for concern - but him going out on a date he clearly wasn't looking forward to, with a guy he used to think was a complete ass, wasn't so much. And besides, you had your own 'date' to worry about!
Speaking of which, after meeting up with Allison again for lunch, that was pretty much all you heard about for the rest of the school day (which thankfully did take take your mind off Randall and the DVD, at least for the time being). Allison was clearly excited, and seeing as the two of you hadn't really done much together since the accident (apart from a visit to the mall), she had every reason to be. As much of a chore as it was going to be bowling with Shawna and Bryce, you did enjoy seeing Allison happy and you figured that it would definitely be worth it, if only for that. Besides, it can't hurt too much to stay in her good books, you smiled, having of course sidelined your quest for sex, but feeling like any sort of affection from your girlfriend would be more than welcome right now.
After weightlifting then, the last class of the day (and after chatting a little more with Sean, who was steadily seeming like a cooler and cooler guy), you rounded up your little brother and sister and headed home - having received a text from Randall telling you give him a call when you got there.
"Hey, dude, whats up?" he said on answering the phone, before immediately apologizing about Mr. Hanson's earlier interruption.
"Don't sweat it," you told him (having gotten over your earlier anger), "I had to bust a move to English anyway, before Mrs. Harlen gave me shit again."
"Oh yeah, she's a total bitch. Even to the other teachers. Everyone fucking hates her!"
"That's good to know, I guess," you laughed, glad that you weren't the only one with this opinion.
"So you already for your double date with 'Shallow Shawna' and 'Bryce the human vacuum cleaner' then?" he asked, leaving a moments pause before chuckling, "You know...cause he sucks!"
"Ha ha. You're a funny guy, you know that?" you sarcastically replied, not giving him the satisfaction of actually laughing at his lame ass joke. "Anyway, I can put up with Allison's idiot friend's just fine, you're the one who's going out for a romantic candlelight dinner with Central High's number one super stud!...You've got it way worse than me buddy!"
This immediately got Randall's goat up, as he told you in no uncertain terms (and not for the first time either) that "It's not a fucking romantic dinner! It's just a dumb date with a guy from work, nothing more!"
"Didn't sound that way to me," you continued to tease, recalling the fragment of conversation you'd heard this morning, "Didn't I hear Italian being mentioned? Those places are all lovey-dovey and shit!"
"They are?" he asked, clearly getting worried, "I thought that was just in movies and stuff..."
Realizing that this was probably true (having never actually been to a fancy restaurant yourself) and not particularly helpful either, you decided to quit with teasing for now and instead focus on trying to get your friend through his first adult 'date' unscathed - not wanting Mr. Hanson to take advantage after all. "Well maybe," you said, preparing Randall for the worst, "but there is no way Hanson isn't going to try and make a move. I've seen the way he looks at you."
"Tim, everyone looks at me like that nowadays. I can't help being as hot as fuck!"
"Yeah, well...perhaps you might want to try and tone it down a little tonight, or he'll think he's in with a chance."
"You really think so?"
"Totally. And if you don't want him asking you out again or hounding you like Sweaty Swanson was, then you need to show him you're definitely not interested."
"I'm not though!" he assured you, practically yelping down the phone. "And believe you me, the thought of sitting alone at a table with him for hours on end acting all 'Laura' isn't exactly something I'm looking forward to either! At least when I went out with Miss. Esposita and Miss. Wells we were drinking and just talking shit the whole time. What the fuck do I talk to this dude about?"
This was a good question, though unfortunately one you couldn't really relate to. What did older people talk about on dates?
"I dunno. What do you talk to anyone about?" you eventually shrugged, figuring he would have a better idea than you.
"Like I told you before, dude, I just wing it. At least with your mom and people like that I kind of know what stuff they're into. I have absolutely no clue when it comes to Hanson."
"That's kind of like me and Allison's friends," you said, drawing a comparison to your own predicament. "Why can't they like video games and action movies and shit like normal people?"
"Try being an adult then," Randall told you, "Nobody likes any of that stuff. It's all just politics and housing prices."
"Yeah...that does sound like it would suck. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something," you continued, getting back to Mr. Hanson and the date, "Just don't act too interested in what he's saying and try to dress less...well, y'know, less 'showy' (this being your subtle attempt at telling him to keep his tits hidden). If things go really south, then send me a text and I'll call you. I'll pretend like there is some emergency or something you have to get back to, that way you'll have an excuse to bail on him."
"Good idea, yeah. Want me to do the same for you?"
"Heh. I wish. But I think Allison would probably kill me if I bailed. Even if this Bryce guy is being the most boring fucker in the world!"
Aware that this was probably true, Randall chuckled, "Fair enough." and left it at that.
After a little further strategizing about your dates, realizing that time was creeping up on you, you then wished each other luck and both headed off to get ready - Randall informing you as he did that it was gonna be a nightmare finding something in his closet that didn't show off his massive rack (something that you yourself couldn't help but agree with). Still, you had your own wardrobe to contend with for the moment and only an hour or so before Allison appeared, so there was no point worrying about Randall any longer. He's gonna have to fend for himself now, you thought to yourself as you headed towards the bathroom to shower, just as I'm gonna have to.

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
