Yukiko made her way to school, the path shrouded in a thick layer of fog. She was still blushing from her encounter at breakfast that morning. Encountering assorted guests on her way to the lobby had been excruciating, knowing that their leers and knowing looks meant that she was being undressed was almost as bad as actually being seen naked in front of them last night! She also could not avoid an encounter with her mother and the maid staff. Frankly, she was practically mobbed by a horde of giggling servants and cooks the moment she appeared, all wanting the details of her humiliation. Of course, she omitted the supernatural elements from her tale, instead blaming the incident on some horrible pranksters that had stolen her clothes while she was in the bath. Fortunately, her mother wasn't angry. It seemed similar incidents had plagued the Amagi women for generations. A inevitable consequence of being an attractive woman running a bathhouse, as her mother put it. However, to maintain the Amagi reputation Yukiko would be expected to apologize for being foolish enough to find herself in such a lewd situation and for disturbing the guests with her screams. When Yukiko protested, she was sternly reminded that she still had responsibilities to the Inn. The guests came first, and her mother was not above disciplining the girl with a hard wooden paddle despite her age if Yukiko needed to be reminded of that fact. That would certainly be the result if she fell that prank a second time.

So not mad, but not at all sympathetic either. The rest of the staff was worse, seeming to regard the whole incident as a big joke and happily tormenting Yukiko with their teasing. Even though they meant it to be lighthearted, Yukiko couldn't help but blush intensely as she left with their banter ringing in her ears.
