a little tumble

Mincing slowly down the stairs, you spot Jason sitting on the couch waiting for you. Your heart beat quickens as he looks up at you and smiles. You feel very nervous, not knowing how you should approach this situation but you reflexively smile back at him in a way you fear is cuter than you would have liked. You feel your skin flush and you know your hands are trembling as you reach out for the banister.

This sickening feel becomes very distracting, so much so that your hand slips off the banister and you loose your balance. As you try to walk down a step, the end of your heeled foot catches the edge of the step and your weight sends you forward. You begin to tumble but everything fades to black as you hear Jason call out.
