The usual buxom elves, sultry sorceresses, and leggy leather-clad rogues fill the main room of the tavern, but one who stands out from the crowd catches your eye.

Standing by the bar, wearing a blue tunic of reasonably good quality, is a woman you instantly recognize as wearing the characteristic white sash of the Paladin of Madano (a local deity of courage and heroism). You've heard some good things about the order, but never seen one of their holy warriors in person. If all of them look like her, then you've been missing something good.

She doesn't look too much older or younger than you, with fair skin and shiny black hair cut into a ragged bob cut. As you make your way through the crowd, you notice more about her--a turned-up nose, a vertical scar to the right of it that crosses with her mouth, and a pensive, perhaps somber expression. Of course, you can't help but notice that even under her relatively modest clothes, she's got a body hotter than dragon's breath!
