Zoe gets lost

Zoe walked along the sidewalk at night with her face glued to her phone, as usual.

She scrolled through several social media feeds, looking at posts from people that she thought were cool, hot, or both.

After walking for what felt like a long time, Zoe glanced up from her phone and realized that she had wandered completely off campus. Where was she?

She looked around and realized that she was in some kind of low-income housing area, the wrong part of town. There was a lot of housing like this around campus, cheap places to live for students and other people.

Zoe tugged her short skirt down a little where it had ridden up on her ass and took stalk of the area. There were some pretty run-down apartment buildings on the side of the street that she was standing on and a sleazy bar on the other side of the street; everything else was already closed at this hour.

"Fuck" Zoe said and looked at her phone again, opening an app to find a ride back to campus. She had walked for too long already, and she was tired and dangerously close to breaking a sweat in this outfit.

As Zoe opened the app her phone shut off. The battery had run down to nothing while she had been walking. What a cheap piece of crap, she thought to herself, making a mental note to tell her parents that she needed an upgrade.
