You seize the Riley Lovelace skin, not even bothering to upbraid Cassie/Mrs. Hunt/Jimmy for having zapped you, and put it on as quickly as you can. You have to.

You'd thought that your desire to be Riley Lovelace instead of David Anderson was strong, but the Jess personality has just engulfed you, and her desire to be Riley Lovelace instead of Jessica Hunt is downright scary. You might have a few qualms about stealing Riley's identity and very life from her, but Jessica would have had none at all if she were herself and not the Jessica suit you're wearing. Soon you've sealed your Riley skin up and Cassie's zapped you again, and your Riley Lovelace personality and memories flow back with a rush that beats that of intravenous Dilaudid -- which as Riley you've tried only once and realized was too tempting to try ever again.

Soon you're getting into your costume. You're too wired to complain about the Jessica self inside you. Mrs. Hunt's self is covering up Jimmy's inside Cassie but it seems to be causing her no trouble; you don't think that Trish was zapped after she put on Gem, so that presumably she doesn't have a Gem personality to deal with inside her. If Jimmy can handle Mrs. Hunt's self inside her Cassie body and self, you can handle Jessica's... you think.
