ZORRO: The Black Avenger/ZORRO: El Vengador Negro

This comic follows the adventures of Diego Vega, a brilliant engineer and martial artist who after the tragic **** of his father, vows to carry on his legacy by taking on the mantle of ZORRO - one of the last great heroes of the pre-superhero age, Latin Americas second favorite son just behind the fictional character of Goku and who is venerated by Spanish speaking Catholics everywhere ever since his sainthood was recognized by the Pope in 1900 - to fight against the corrupt politicians, mega-corporations, cartels, coyotes and the ever-expanding rogues gallery of supervillains who rule the city that lies on the U.S.-Mexican border. Diego uses his advanced engineering skills to create a high-tech motorcycle and bulletproof suit, both equipped with cutting-edge technology.

As Zorro, he becomes a symbol of hope for a city & people who for the longest time have been starved of it, exposing the oppressors and protecting the oppressed, all while leaving his iconic "Z" as a mark of justice and leading many on both sides to believe that it really is the original Zorro back from the dead!

(to be fair, this is a comic book universe where that kind of thing happens a lot, so the fact that it's not the actual Zorro is the real shocking part!)
