Yvette leads Abbie into the lounge

Abbie followed Yvette into the room and looked around as the door closed behind her. It was a somewhat unfinished room, a few scattered pieces of furniture lying about with no particular sense of organization. There was a sofa and a few chairs, all covered in linen cloths, a shelving unit, and a number of boxes in various stages of being either packed or unpacked, Abbie couldn't tell which. The shelves had office materials, janitorial supplies, paint dropcloths, and more. There was a large wagon that looked like a laundry hamper, possibly because it was full of sheets.

The back wall of the room was all windows, much like the seating areas of the gates outside the room. Through the glass of the windows, Abbie could see the tarmac outside. Since the gates nearby were not currently in service, there weren't any jet bridges or planes just outside, but there was still some general activity on the tarmac, trucks driving past, tow wagons of luggage from other gates, and even planes moving from one part of the tarmac to another.

Yvette's demeanor was calm and cool. The way she didn't do much to acknowledge the room or any of its layout or content suggested to Abbie that she had been there many times before, and found it very familiar.

Yvette strutted around the furniture, and wound up on the far side of the room. As she reached the far side of the room, she turned back to face Abbie, who stood just inside the door. The sofa was between them, covered in a dropcloth.

Abbie looked around, and returned her gaze to Yvette who looked back, smirking. "Welcome to Gate 16," Yvette said. Abbie didn't react, so Yvette continued, not wanting to **** things with Abbie. "Do you want to do this?"

After a beat, Abbie's face broke into a smile. She looked at Yvette. "Yes. I totally want to do this." She bit her lip, and shook her shoulders slightly, excited for the unknown of what was to come.
