Youtube Goes Down

A virus corrupts every video streaming site on the planet, leaving porn sites as the only place for **** Youtubers to turn.

The report led the evening news on every channel.

"EVERY VIDEO UPLOAD AND STREAMING SITE IN THE WORLD HAS GONE DOWN." The headline boldly declared. Dodger saw it when she was in line at the coffee shop, and quickly pulled out her phone for more information, maybe it was some kind of joke. She sincerely hoped it was. Youtube was her livelihood.

She was wrong.

The very first article she found elaborated on the headline.
"Every video streaming and upload site on the planet have mysteriously gone dark today. This includes Youtube, Twitch TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Go, Dailymotion, Vimeo. Every single one. The cause of this is still unknown though it is believed to be an extremely elaborate computer virus. The virus erased every single shred of code on all of the sites. Every video that was uploaded, all the livestreams, profiles made, subscribers gained, likes, favourites, shares, it's all gone. It also appears as though the virus has made it impossible for those sites to ever come back online. We may be living in a world without video-streaming. Oddly though, for reasons that baffle experts, one type of video site was completely immune to the virus. Porn sites.
Sites like Redtube, XHamster, PornHub and many others continue to function as normal."
Dodger couldn't believe what she was reading. A quick glance at other articles confirmed it. Dodger then tried to use her phone to log in to her Youtube account and...it was gone. There was literally nothing. The app had vanished from her phone, a Google search turned up nothing, except articles like the one she had just read, referencing how Youtube was gone. It was like someone had erased every trace of it from the internet. The same was true of Twitch, Dailymotion and all those other sites the article mentioned. Dodger could not find a single video upload/streaming site on the entire internet, besides porn sites.

As she paid for her coffee and left, Dodger walked back to her apartment thinking about what she was going to do. How could she make money now, without being able to make videos?
