Your tomboy friend Misa

Misa was a great friend and classmate, and one who shared your study sessions with Abirit on occassion. You remember her visiting your house many times before, playing Smash with you and helping you with stuff and your mom giving her delicious cookies to share.

That was over a month ago, before Abirit began dating your dad, and for some reason or other Misa simply hadn't been visiting your house lately.

"Hello there," You said, "Been quite a while since we last saw each other, hasn't it."

"Less than a week since summer vacation began," Misa said, "How's things?"

"...Hectic, and boring sometimes," You said.

"I see..." Said Misa, "Hey, Abirit."

"Misa," Abirit nodded back.

"Enjoying yourself?" Asked Misa.

"Yes...?"

"I see..." Said Misa.

"Hey, Misa!" Said a man running up to her, "The beachball field's just about done setting up, the others are waiting for you."

"I gotcha," Said Misa, "You wanna join?"

You and Abirit share glances, then look back at Misa.

She bothered by something? Abirit asks you with her eyes.

Beats me, You reply back with a shrug.
