You weren't really in a hurry, which is why you ended up about one hour late, walking into Miss Alison's class in the middle of her lecture. The woman in her thirties stopped talking and turned to face you with an unimpressed look.

"John, care to explain why you showed up so late today and weren't seen at all yester-"
