Your sister is standing there

You stand up from the couch, stretching your arms above your head. As you walk towards the kitchen, you hear a gasp from the doorway. You turn around to see your sister, Nicole, standing there with a look of shock on her face. You quickly grab a blanket from the back of the couch and wrap it around yourself and Maddie.

"Nicole, what are you doing here?" you ask, trying to keep your voice calm.

Nicole stammers for a moment before finally finding her words. "I came to pick up some of my stuff. I didn't know you had someone over."

You feel your cheeks flushing with embarrassment as Nicole's eyes dart back and forth between you and Maddie. You can see the judgment in her eyes, and it makes you feel uneasy.

Maddie stands up, wrapping the blanket tighter around herself. "Hi, I'm Maddie," she says, extending a hand toward Nicole.

Emily looks at Maddie's hand for a moment before reluctantly shaking it. "Nicole," she replies curtly.

There's an awkward silence that settles over the room, and you can feel the tension building. You don't know how to explain the situation to Emily without making it even more uncomfortable.

Maddie seems to sense your discomfort and steps in. "I'm sorry we just got so horny last night that we just could not help ourselves."

Emily's expression softens slightly at Maddie's words, but she still looks uneasy. "I'm not judging you, I just wasn't expecting to see that," she says, gesturing toward the couch.

You take a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief that the tension is beginning to dissipate. "We're sorry if we made you uncomfortable. It wasn't our intention."

Nicole nods before turning towards the doorway. "I'm just going to grab my things and go to work, we can talk more later."

As Nicole walks out of the room, you and Maddie exchange a look. You both know that things are going to be different now that your sister has seen you together. But for now, you're just grateful to have each other.
