Your nanny

To your surprise, it is someone you never would have expected. "Mrs. Rossi?" you say in disbelief. "Is that really you?"

Sara Rossi had been your nanny since you're a toddler, taking care of you until you're 8 years old before she left to get married. Last you heard, she had two children and is living with her family in the United States.

Sara smiles gently. "You've always been such a joy to care for. It's my honor to do so."

"You helped shaped me to be the who I am today. You have been patient and loving to me. I owe so much to you. That being said, is there any reason for you to be here?"

Sara told you the story. She was a nanny sent by your grandfather to help your family to take care of you when you were small. Despite your father's breaking all ties to him, it was your grandfather's way of showing that he cared for his son and family. While your parents accepted Sara in order to help raise you, eventually when you are big enough, they decided to sent her away since they feel that you're already independent enough. Besides, Sara was also getting married around that time.

"Glad to hear you're doing alright. So, while I'm happy to see you, is there any reason for you to be here at this late?"

"Didn't your parents or grandfather tells you? When the family made me your bambinaia, they made it clear that once you're at that age, it is my duty to make you a man."

"Make me a man?" There are so many meanings to that statement but you end up going back to the same conclusion.
