Your allies show themselves

A month goes by, both painfully slow and surprisingly fast. All of you are on edge, eyeing everyone with suspicious eyes. It does not matter if they are humans, werewolves, mers, vampires, or the Fae, any of them could be working for the enemy. Dusty reports back to you every night, whispers of the Red Fang everywhere but no one actually in town as far as you all can tell. It leaves you on edge, constantly patrolling the rooftops and checking on the twins just in case. You're all waiting for the attack, just unsure when it will happen.

Then, you notice a group of people approaching your gates. Riot and Rebel quickly rush over to the gates, flanking you when you get there. Your wolves are itching under the surface, ready to fight if necessary.

But it isn't necessary. You recognize the princes of the Far North and the Stormy Marsh, fae you've made an alliance with when your pack moved into town. Then you notice two centaurs from the herd that lives in your forest and a few mer who live in the lakes. You motion for the twins to stand down as you approach the group. No need to destroy alliances by being too aggressive. But if they have sided with the Red Fang, you will not hesitate to protect your pack with your life.

"Rowan." the prince of the Stormy Marsh, Nimbus, greets, giving you a short bow. The others follow suit, you returning the gesture.

"Good evening Nimbus, Aslan." you say, "The Fae are always welcome in our territory, though I wish you would have sent word ahead of you." Turning your attention to the others, you greet the centaurs, Blake and Blaze, and the mermen, Rust, Percy, and Nemo.

"Now, if you don't mind me asking, what brings you to our home today?"

Blaze gets straight to the point. "The war between you and the Red Fang have brought us here." he explains, "Your pack has been keeping their end of the treaty, but the Red Fang has been opening attacking us at almost every turn. We've decided to put our neutrality aside and support your efforts, as well as help protect your home if you would welcome us inside."
