Young boy

You are startled when a young boy that looks no more than seven or eight comes out from behind the fence.

"Hey, are you okay?" You ask as you take a couple of steps towards the boy.

"I can't find my daddy..." the boy whines and sniffles, whiping his nose on his arm.

"I'm sure we can find him." You say with a gentle smile as you look him over. His clothes are dirty and cut up, but otherwise you couldn't find anything else wrong with him from where you are at.

"Do you want to look together?" You ask as you hold a hand out to the boy. You knew there was a chance that the father was dead, but would take him with you anyways.
