You wake up.

You are woken by a whispered conversation in the stopped car. “We can't just leave her in the car.” Katie whispers “I need to go to work soon.”

“Just give her a few minutes she looks so cute like that.” Kim whispers back.

Tempted as you are to feign sleep and see what else they say, you are feeling a bit uncomfortable and need to pee.

You sit up and yawn, looking out the window curiously.

You are parked on a small space on the curve of a narrow dirt road. On one side of the road is a vertical cliff, on the other a steeply sloping property full of beautiful ferns and towering eucalyptus trees. A narrow driveway runs down one edge of the property and you get a glimpse of a roof.

“I'm awake.” you mumble slowly getting out of the car and stretching. “Hey sleepyhead, welcome home.” replies Kim pulling bags out of the boot of the car.

You hurry to help and fully loaded you follow Kim and Katie down the driveway. As you walk down the house is slowly exposed. Its a wooden house with a tin roof. Split level it sprawls over a large area with a wooden porch stretching around the entire outside. To the side is a large carport with one car in it and a large steel shed.

Kim walks in and dumps her load right in the entry way. “Fuck we forgot to turn on the air before we left.” she shouts over her shoulder. Stumbling in behind her you are hit by a wall of hot air. Katie sighs and drops her bags just outside the door and waves to you. “Sorry I have to go, I have a shift and May will kick my ass if I show up late again.” Kim yells bye over her shoulder as she fiddles with the controls for the air conditioner. You step outside and are treated to a big hug from Katie. As she holds you a bit longer than you think friends real should she whispers in your ear “It's so great to meet you. I hope we can be really good friends.” not quite sure how to take this you blush and mumble something and then stand on the porch and watch Katie walk back up the driveway.

You are standing there lost in thought over analysing like normal when Kim sneaks up behind you and wraps her arms around you from behind. A bit startled you squeak and jump. Kim laughs and lets you go pointing back into the house. "It's going to be a while before it's cool enough inside to be bearable, how about we sit outside for a bit?"
