Chapter 201

What happens next?
You visit your ship and organize the crew
“That was surprisingly painless,” you comment as you exited the space port office. “I would’ve thought they would’ve dumped a bunch of paperwork on me. Though since an Aqua and Kazuma were manning the desk, they might’ve lost most of it. We’ll find out eventually.”
“At least your “new” ship is finally open for business in time for the honeymoon,” Gaige said casually while tinkering with some sort of mechanical puzzle thing.
“Hopefully they were able to clear all the traps,” Aelita said as she walked beside you.
“They gave us a certificate that the ship has an A safety rating now. I wouldn’t bring you to the ship if I thought it wasn’t safe. It's partially why I brought Gaige and Erza with us. Though if I see a single threat, I will be going back and eviscerating that Eddy,” you say with a slight edge in your voice.
Walking a bit more, you notice Aelita slowing down a bit. “By the way, are you alright with walking the distance? I could get a palanquin for you with same minute delivery.”
“Why does she get a palanquin and not the rest of us?” Gaige complained a bit as she stabbed the puzzle with a screwdriver causing it to spark and unravel a bit.
“Are you pregnant like her?” You ask her flatly, causing a group of cargo loaders and unloaders to stop and look at your group in surprise. An Elm from RWBY and a Mitsuri from Demon Slayer even stumble as they were carrying crates with other characters. An Ass-Kicked Warrior from Jak and Daxter screamed, startling your group, as the crate he was carrying with Elm crushed his foot.
At the same time, when Mitsuri stumbled while going down a ship’s ramp, the shipping crate fell forward and landed on a Burter from Dragon Ball Z. The former Ginyu **** member shouted and complained about the bump on his head. While Mitsuri was apologizing to Burter (after lifting the crate off him), a group of characters of the Scout Regiment from Attack on Titan were lifting the crate off the Ass-Kicked Warrior’s leg and taking him to the on-site clinic.
“Well, that happened,” Erza said as she returned to her spot, she had started going towards the dropped crates to help when she saw the loaders/unloaders already had it handled.
“Yeah, let’s get to the tram before something else happens,” you say pointing to the available tram less than a 100 feet away.
“Why didn’t we use the tram last time?” Gaige complained, recalling how far we had to walk last time.
“It was broken last time,” you reminded her.
“This is a Normandy SR-2, that was the name of the original ship and is now considered the ship class,” You explain as you walk up the ramp of your ship. “Though I’m thinking of having its name changed to the ‘Winged Heart’.” You start giving Sabine, Hera, Bulma, and Nami its specs and giving them a proper tour of the place.
It was very apparent to you that Don had made plenty of changes to the place which was a bit awkward as you were trying to explain some features only to walk not into an observation room but an art gallery full of paintings of Don with his characters in intimate positions. You couldn’t even destroy the paintings as they were all made by some pretty popular artists including Bart Simpson #5849 and Circe #45110.
The executive officer’s office was instead a kitchen while the original kitchen was a dessert station. The themed bowls and nozzles definitely implied that the desserts were also going somewhere more … sexy.
The life support room looked to also be a plant room and due to Bulma entering the room, you found out it had bondage vines ready to snare helpless unsuspecting girls; you nearly rushed Aelita out of the ship but then your relatively recent lessons from Antonio’s Poison Ivy allowed you to sense that the vines weren’t malicious.
It had been a quick job to get the vines to let the crying Bulma go, with the vines even giving Bulma a flirty gesture as they set her down. You made a note to put a warning sign on the door.
Sabine had claimed the main battery as soon as she saw the guns and had started examining the weapons systems. Thankfully, there were several manuals piles on a table for her to study. It was a good thing too as when you got around to showing the armory, you instead found a spa.
The “armory” ended up being where Mordin’s lab used to be and contained some racks for guns and hangers for armor along with including some engineering and biological lab equipment. Bulma ended up staying there to test out the equipment.
Don apparently had some parts of the ship magically expanded as there were actual bed rooms for up to 50 crew and passengers instead of bunks for sleeping in shifts. That didn’t include your private room and all the extremely comfortable couches and seats scattered about.
Hera and Nami did not like all the stripper poles such things that were installed on all the decks, even the engine room. Though finding out that the decks could be adjusted for different purposes by using a panel was a nice surprise. Though Hera, Erza, and Gaige were not happy to be suddenly dropped in a 5 ft deep pool.
“And this is the flight deck and navigation center,” you say as you finally reached the pilot’s seat after hastily hunting for towels to help Hera and the others dry off from their sudden dip in the pool. Aelita had decided to stay to rest in the pit of sofas once the pool was put away and the sofas returned. “Holographic interface for both and I’m fairly sure there's a manual and/or tutorial program for both.” You say as you look under the console for a cabinet or something.
“I’m the best pilot in the galaxy, I can fly anything,” Hera said as she barged past you to take a seat at the controls. You see her look around at the holographic controls and try out some of the options. You could hear the engines kick on and the ship move slightly.
“*yawn* Occupants of hanger 47-C, we are detecting your ship moving without the hanger doors open?” A Kazuma from Konosuba asked over the comm. “Do you want us to open them for you or something? You haven’t filed for authorization. If you aren’t moving anything, do you *yawn* want me to call maintenance? I think I have their number somewhere around here.”
“We’re good, my new pilot is just testing out the ship's controls; she’s an expert on Star Wars ships not the Mass Effect style ship I have,” you say over the comms, causing a slight glare from Hera who snatched the headset from you.
“This is the captain of the yet to be renamed Winged Heart, just getting a handle on these holographic controls,” Hera replied.
“Do you want us to turn on the infinite holodeck?” You could hear paper flipping like Kazuma was reading a comic book or manga.
“Sure?” Hera said with a slightly confused expression (can’t raise an eyebrow without eyebrows) and a moment later the hanger faded away to a field of stars with just the hanger floor remaining. “What the–”
“It's a sort of simulator to let pilots test the ships out before taking them out for real, the safety features keep the ship safe, just don’t try to jump to FTL,” you partially joke. The hangar's override computer locks all FTL equipment from activating. “ I don’t know how it works exactly.”
It took a few tries but Hera was able to get the ship flying about and nearly dancing with the Normandy-class ship. She improved even more when I switched the interface to wheel-mode to give her something more aligned with what she knew. With Hera learning how to get the ship flying, you turn to Nami.
Nami was already expertly using the navigational table and studying the local space lands and nearby locations in close star systems and such. “I already learned stellar navigation at the Watchtower, it had quite the setup,” Nami said as she used the navigational computer to track a convoy of ships heading out to Andromeda station a few star systems away.
“I’ll just give you this then,” you say as you insert a isolinear rod into the navigational console. The console changed and presented a map of a different galaxy.
“What’s this?”
“Map of the galaxy we are going to for the honeymoon,” you explain before you use the console to zoom into a particular section. “The dimensional gate will drop us out around here in the middle of nowhere.” You point at a binary star system with nothing of note except for an ice planet. “And we are going to be going to this paradise.” You swipe until eventually you make it to Riza, the most popular resort world in the Star Trek universe.
“Any you want me to plot a path that will get us there safely.”
“Well, this map is either 4 or 8 years out of date, we will be the first ship in since the universe got sealed off like 4 years ago,” you explain. “Can you do it?”
“Are Calm Belts **** traps?” Nami rolls her eyes as she starts to check the navigational tools to determine a good path to Riza.
“Well, if everyone is happy, there are a few things to do for tomorrow,” you say before turning to Hera. “Think you have a handle on it?”
“Think I got it,” Hera replied as she set the ship down on the hangar floor and the Infinite Holodeck shut down automatically.
“Then request authorization to take off and set off to my parent’s house,” you say before having Nami switch the console to planetary mode and punching in your parent’s address.
“Oh, so this is why you borrowed a digistruct car instead of driving your own,” Gaige realized.
“Yup,” you say as the hangar’s roof opened up and Hera eased the ship out and away it flew.
