Chapter 3 by Trom1806 Trom1806

So, now you have to choose from options each of which you don't like (Oh...study is so boring...)

You understand that you will have to find a couple of teachers...

You understand that you will have to find a couple of teachers and agree with them on the procedure for preparing for lectures, seminars and exams. You would be happy not to associate with these boring teachers, but in the previous six months of college, you unfortunately already managed to anger some of the teachers with your laziness and poor preparation for lectures.

You spend time looking for some of the teachers in the classrooms and lecture rooms of the college. You spend even more time negotiating with these teachers and trying to convince them to be lenient with you (for example: so that they give you a chance to correct the poor grades that you managed to get over the past six months).

However, you have a problem with one of the teachers. Miss Louise Fernandez was a teacher of mechanical drawing and mathematics in your department. Outwardly, she looked quite pretty, namely, a young pretty woman with a beautiful bronze skin tone, about 30 years old, about 165 centimeters tall, loving elegant black skirts just above the knee, high heels and strict white blouses. But all her good looks contrasted with the fact that she taught some of the toughest academic subjects in your department. At least these disciplines were difficult for you, since they required systematic thoughtful work both during lectures and during the preparation of homework. So it's not surprising that over the past six months you have received unsatisfactory grades in drawing and mathematics...

So, Miss Louise Fernandez, in response to all your pleas for indulgence, sternly answers:

"Mr. Atkins, over the past six months you have shown yourself to be a lazy and inefficient student. The only way to remedy the situation, in my opinion, is mandatory extra classes after the lectures. I am ready to study with you in these classes three times a week. However, you will have to move to building number 2 of the student hostel of our college.I know that now you live in building number 1 of the student hostel, but after the lectures I will conduct additional classes in my house, which is located on the eastern outskirts of the city.If you stay in the current hostel, you will have to spend about 2 hours on the road and you simply won’t have time to properly prepare for classes - that’s why I insist on your moving. So, do you agree with my proposal?"

Miss Louise Fernandez's determined and stern tone took you by surprise. You somehow collect your thoughts and answer:
