You think to yourself for a moment. Maybe you can manipulate the situation and get Any to change her mind. After a few moments you respond

“Actually Amy I would be a lot more comfortable if I could have some control of how this goes down. This is just really unexpected”

Amy was a bit nervous. She didn’t want her boyfriend to mess things up, but at the same time she didn’t want him to change his mind.

“If that’s the case I will follow your lead. I really hope you don’t change your mind. I can’t remember the last time I was this excited”
