You try to keep out of the way

Things are already stressed out as it is, with you hiding under the conference room table in the middle of an important client meeting. If you do something down here to get the attention of Gemma, she’ll want to check out what’s going on down here, tipping off the rest of the room that something is up. The last thing you want is to be caught in this position by the senior partners. You don’t even have a viable excuse as to why you’re down here.

Based on this logic, you opt to stay clear of Gemma and Sabrina and let them have their fun alone. You’ll just have to make do with watching the two play with each other, unbeknownst to the rest of the room.

Above you, you can still hear the law team deliberate on their case. From the tones of the muffled voices, things are going along, business as usual. That’s a good sign for you, but also tells you this is going to be a long meeting. You shift your body, trying to get into a relaxed position. Best not to get a cramp while waiting this out.

Sabrina and Gemma have stopped rubbing their feet together. You frown, losing your one form of entertainment for the next hour or so. You’re tempted to check your phone, but worry it might attract attention from the screen light or by setting off some sort of phone alert, so you keep it in airplane mode. You’ll just have to tough it out in the trenches.

You notice Gemma dropping her right hand onto her lap. Her fingers drum over her thigh for a moment. You wonder what she is up to. She reaches over to Sabrina’s lap, but hesitates. You realize she’s thinking of pushing the envelope with her fellow intern!

Suddenly the drama is amped up in your hidden show. Gemma’s comfort level with Sabrina appears to have graduated to a higher level of intimacy. The question is whether she will act on it… You gaze ahead, eyes unblinking as Gemma goes back and forth, hovering her hand over Sabrina’s leg, then quickly retracting it. You hear someone call out her name in the form of a question. She quickly pulls her right hand back up onto the table and she responds. There is a short conversation and the hand remains above the table.

You shrug. It’s not as though everyone is as promiscuous as Sabrina and her Onlyfans friends. Maybe Gemma thought better of making moves on her coworker in the middle of work. She does seem like the responsible type.

Just as you are justifying Gemma’s cowed attempt at stealing third base with Sabrina, her hand slips under the table once again! You hold your breath in anticipation. She rests her right hand on the arm of the chair while her pen dangles between two fingers. The pen looks like it could slip through, any second. You wonder if Gemma is falling asleep during the meeting. So much for the diligent, responsible employee.

A more pressing concern fills your head as you realize that dropping her pen would mean that Gemma would have to reach down and pick it up. With you being in plain view if she were to poke her head under the table, you realize you have to prevent this from happening!
