...You try to escape

You wake up before he does, and contemplate your options. You have no idea what he's capable of, or what he'll do to you, so escape is your best option. But what if the collar kills you? You decide that it's worth the risk as you carefully get off the bed, trying your hardest not to wake him. You carefully open the door, scanning your surroundings. You're in a forest, but down below you is a river. If you get there you can probably follow the stream towards the sanctuary.

You walk cautiously until you're out of view of the house and take off in a sprint towards the river. Slowly you realize your collar is beeping, slowly. The further you go the more it beeps, but you disregard that. You get to the edge of the river when suddenly you collapse, dying. Your choice led to your **** as the wasteland is unforgiving, and those who make the wrong choices often don't get a second chance. You are no exception. Maybe one day your body will be found by a scavenger and or raider, but this is where your story will end.
