You tell him who you really are

"Uh, not exactly?" you say. You'd decided that things would be complicated enough to explain without adding in one more lie, but the sound of Jessie's voice gives you pause. Has the little geek's voice always been that deep?

"Hello?" Jessie asks, his voice confused. You don?t want to risk him hanging up on you.

"This is {firstname}," you say, speaking quickly. "There's been a... situation here at Sara's house, and I need you to come over to fix it."

"{firstname}?" Now Jessie sounds confused? and a little suspicious. ?Is this another joke? Another trick?"

"No, no, listen," you say, feeling a stab of fear. "No tricks, you help me out here and I'll... I'll set you up with my sister for sure." You're not sure exactly how much pull you'll actually have with your sister after this debacle, but Jessie doesn't really have to know that does he?

There's nothing but silence though from the other end of the line.

"Jessie?" you ask, feeling your heart drop to the pit of your stomach. "Jessie?"

Suddenly CARA's voice intrudes.

Sara, you sound distressed. Do you require more... assistance?

You feel a chill run through your body at the thought of more ?help? from the crazy robot. "Please man," you whisper into the phone, and maybe it's your nerves, but the voice that emerges sounds high-pitched and soft, and almost... almost...

"Jessie?"
