You spot a familiar face

You turn back forward and notice someone on the other side of the street peering into a window of a shop, not just any shop but the "Unusual taste" sex shop, which looks pretty classy right now and its Lisa holding a shopping bag.

She's looking inside and you can see through the window that there aren't really any merchandises being displayed, the only thing in view is the register and the bored looking girl that Jane went ham, playing with, that one time.

The people walk around her, not giving her any attention, it's like they aren't aware that one of the most beautiful and famous model in the world is slightly bent over staring into a window of a sex shop.

You realize that she's probably making everyone ignore her with the powers Jane gave her. She stops leaning forward and straightens out and kind of turns around, looking straight towards you, you give her a friendly wave and suddenly she just appears right next to your table, slightly startling you.

She laughs and says:

"I thought you would had gotten used to things like this by now, may I sit with you?"

"Yeah sure, what are you doing here?" you ask.

"Just window shopping." Lisa says and kind of turns her head towards the sex shop again, you watch her get a dreamy look as she smiles and you kind of piece it together, she's not here for merchandise, but rather for someone else.

You let her have a few seconds to herself and then say:

"You know, you could just ask her out."

"Huh?" Lisa says, as she turns around confused.

"The girl at the register, you should just ask her out if you like her, it's better to do that and just be clear about what you want, learned that the hard way." you say.

Lisa slightly blushes as she realizes that you have figure her out and says:

"She's going to say yes."

"Don't you want that?" you ask a little confused.

Lisa gives you a kind of sad smile and says:

"You really don't get it, when I look like this she's going to say yes, no matter what I ask her, she will totally fall in love with me, everyone does... maybe expect for Jane, you and the girls."

"Oh, right." you say kind of sheepishly when you realize how slightly dumb you were being.

You pause for a second to think and then say:

"But what if you didn't look like you look, what if you looked like you used to look."

Lisa looks at you like you said something very stupid, then it's looks like she mulls it over while you say:

"I bet Jane would love to help you out."

Lisa thinks for a second then gets a worried face and asks:

"But what if she doesn't like me, like I like her?"

"That's always going to be a risk, but you will never know unless you ask her, Lisa." you reply.

She thinks about what you said for a second and says:

"I'm starting to see why she likes you, you know she talked about you a lot, did you know that?"

You just reply with a confused pause.

"Jane, she was always talking about you, before you became a couple, she was always saying 'I wonder what that idiot John is doing now' or laughing about how dumb you looked as she fucked with you, it was all 'John this or John that', she was kind of obsessed with you." Lisa says.

You pause, smile a little and say:

"I figured."

You both sit in silence for a while until Lisa asks:

"So what are you doing?"

"Oh, mostly getting stuff for Jane, I bought her this purple dress." you say as you show Lisa the bag.

You both sit and have a nice friendly chat until Lisa's phone starts blasting a custom ringtone, she takes out her phone and starts smiling at the screen, she then says:

"She really is a handful."

"Who?" you ask curious.

"June, I better get going, it was nice chatting with you, tell Jane I said hello." Lisa says.

"I will, it's been nice." you say.

Lisa stands up, but pauses, looks at you and says:

"You know she's more for the color blue, and also you know she's doesn't really care about possessions, you know that right, seeing as she can get anything with a snap of her fingers, but I bet she will appreciate that you put in all this effort getting it for her."

Lisa gives you a smile, snaps her fingers and just disappears into thin air, leaving you alone.

You sit for a few seconds but the last thing Lisa said to you about how Jane would appreciate the effort and you realize a solution to the problem you have been thinking about all day as you were shopping.

You smile and set your plan into motion, knowing it's going to take a few months to pull off.

And the first step in your plan is to get a job, a proper one.
