You shake it off!

Still shocked from the sudden attack, you reach up and try to pull the creature off of you! The shift in weight forces you to tumble into a wall.

You manage to put the creature between you and the hull, using your shoulder to drive your point home. The creature loses its grip and falls to the floor.
