Chapter 3 by Altu5g Altu5g

Where to?

You run into your first target

Shrugging it off, you decided to put on a plain shirt and a pair of jeans and head off to see what its worth. As you left the room, you already found a possible subject the minute you left.

You almost collided with the girl, but in the last second you both managed to stop yourselves. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" The blonde girl says apologetically in her sweet voice.

Looking up at the familiar voice, you see Sierra, one of your sister's two best friends. While both your sister Hayley, and her other best friend Dana were relatively girly (and in your opinion, annoyingly shallow), Sierra was different. She was still very feminine, but she didn't make it the essence of her personality. Sierra was very into sports, training every single day with the hope of eventually becoming the captain of the school girls soccer team, which made her the outsider in your sister's friend group.

And like usual, she was dressed in a gym-ready outfit, with a tight crop top, sports shoes, a pair of yoga pants and her hair in a ponytail.

As you stopped suddenly, nearly bumping into the sweet young woman, you couldn't hide my blush as she apologized. Sierra...if anyone would be easy to convince to test the ring, it'd be sweet, agreeable, her

"I'm so sorry Jean..." She says, reminding you how much nicer she was than your bitchy sister too. "Are you okay?"

"Oh...of course. I'm sorry as well, Sierra. I've just been very distracted this morning. Actually... Would you mind helping me with something?" you asked, slowly pulling out the ring you had planned on using first.

"I'm trying to impress someone. Does this ring look tacky or too gaudy?" you asked while holding it out for her to take. Asking her to put it on felt a bit weird, so you opted to let her do it herself.

You hand Sierra the ring with the blue Gem on it. While Sierra didn't really wear Jewelry, you hoped the premise of helping you pick a ring to impress someone, and additionally how the ring matches her eye color, would both work to get her to put it on.

Sierra picks the ring and takes a close look at it. She seems a little surprised by the question, not really expecting such a request by her best friend's little brother, but she complies. She look around the ring, and you bite your lips, hoping she would put it on.

"I think it looks cute." She says with a smile. You weren't sure if she genuinely meant that or if she was just saying that to make you feel better, but you didn't. Care. "Whoever you're trying to impress will like it, I'm sure. It looks quite expensive too..."

And just when you thought she wasn't going to put it on, Sierra slowly slides the ring onto her ring finger. "Someone special?" She asks with a sweet smile, holding her hand up with the ring on display.
