Chapter 34
by
v9
Is it time to leave?
You prepare to leave the ravine.
You doze on and off in the sunlight, resting from your recent exertions. As you nod off you suddenly feel something unusual in your stomach, something you had not felt in an age, you struggle to identify it. Ah, there it is, hunger, you are tired and hungry two things the undead need never suffer. You have a thorough wash in the lake then begin to make a quick meal conscious that you should begin making your way down the mountain so that you can find a path to climb back up again to town, time is not necessarily on your side despite pleasant distractions so unfortunately you don't have the time for the sleep you ache for, besides now that blood pumps through veins you feel that you had enough sleep when you were undead. Annie dozes in the sun as you prepare a hearty breakfast for both of you from the rations you have accumulated from your journey so far, the sweet smell of bacon raises her from her slumber and she washes before joining you in your simple meal.
As you eat the mood lightens (despite or maybe because of the lingering blood stains on the grass from your battle with Dave01rocks) and she begins to speak "that was amazing, no one has made me feel like that before, so alive!"
You enjoy the compliment and reply "I don't think that I've been with a woman that's been that enthusiastic before."
The girl who had just about attacked you in her desperation for your cock suddenly looks bashful, she blushes looking embarrassed as she replies "when I saw what you could do, the power you can wield, I was overcome, I don't know how to explain it, I just couldn't control my emotions, I guess I'm still trying to get used to my new condition, my....... Ah...... transformation."
Returning her smile you reply "I understand, I'm still trying to get used to breathing and having emotions again."
Her face darkens as she quietly says "I have a secret to tell you, I wasn't sure before but now that we're going out together I should be completely honest with you. When I was corrupted I felt lost, the path that I had spent my life working towards was suddenly closed to me, diverted to an existence with you which I struggled to accept but when I was injured and lying near **** I had visions, of things."
"What things?" You ask curious that there could be more depth to the spoilt brat princess she acted like thus far, yet concerned that her moods could swing so quickly. The fact she seems to think you're now together is an obvious cause for concern but her mind seems to be particularly fragile since her corruption and you don't feel the need to destroy an ally, yet.
Her voice is hoarse as she replies "Of timeless horrors beyond the realms of man, things that crawl and slither at the edge of dreams, those unspeakable beings which we are not meant to know the existence of, things that we can only glimpse the merest hint of least their full horror drive our minds insane."
"You mean programmers" you prompt, humbled at the thought that she had interacted with these godlike beings.
"No, worse, something ......... something is happening, a battle between the gods perhaps, between chaos and order that will shape all our futures" she continues in a whisper drifting off in silence.
"I cannot imagine such a thing, but if anyone has the power to shape Destiny then it is me" you state with confidence.
"That's what they're afraid of, I think" she replies with her eyes cast to the floor. She gathers herself and continues with more hope and confidence "I think you will have the destiny you dream of, I want to serve you, to have power that you spoken of. To rule by your side and crush those who oppose us."
You smile but feel you should be honest with her for the moment, "thank you for your honesty but I must make clear to you that when Skeletor rules he does so alone as none are my equal. Perhaps I will take wives, perhaps not" you lean in close to her "I will reward those who are loyal but crush those who fail me. Do you understand?" You ask.
She pouts at first then tries to smiles but its obviously **** "ok"
You stare at her with cold eyes until she remembers her place "yes, my master" she replies averting her gaze to the floor.
Having decided that you've had enough of distractions you take one last look around the clearing reflecting on the loss of Jack the dog, the feelings of anger that enabled you to ****, just what Annie's motives were in convincing Lynn and Sara to leave so that she could be alone with you and whether there could be any truth to her confused mutterings of a battle between gods, was she just a silly girl telling stories for attention? Your thoughts churn with all of these questions and more as you leave the ravine to begin the next part of your journey.
What do you encounter next?

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
