Chapter 4 by Orlog4 Orlog4

Time for some explenations.

You meet a guy who tells you about Naruda's rules

The room behind the door is almost empty. It has only a table and three chairs. Nothing else. You assume it is mostly used for interrogations in case someone without a pass or wanted by another country tries to enter Naruda. However, you are not alone. Two security guards and a guy your age await you. The guy is dark tanned and smiles friendly. He has short hair and green eyes. You would say he is handsome, but you are too distracted by the fact he is barely naked. He wears a black collar and dark blue boxer shorts. But nothing more. Worth mentioning is probably, that he is very fit. Slender and slightly muscular.

“Greetings, my American friends,” the guy greets you in very good English, “I hope you had a very pleasant flight. My name is Jorrad, and I’m you welcoming committee. You must be Kyle, Jules and Alexis. Allow me to welcome you on Naruda.”

The guy called Jorrad smiles and hugs Jules for welcoming. Then he makes a brotherlike handshake with Kyle. But when he comes to you and tries to hug you. You back off in panic. You don’t know what is going on here, but you will not let this crazy exhibitionist anywhere close to you.

“Oh, are you a shy one?” Jorrad asks still smiling, “you don’t have to hug me, if you don’t want to, but I hope I haven’t upset you.”

“You are naked,” you reply and back off to the wall.

“Yes, is this a problem?” Jorrad asks confused, “about a quarter of the whole population and guests never wear any clothes. Not even underwear.”

“Alex,” Kyles suddenly interrupts sceptic, “is it possible, that you don’t know about Naruda’s special laws? About the ****-system?”

“What system?” you ask tense and look at your friends who talk bullshit, “slavery is illegal and that since centuries.”

“No, not here,” Jorrad answers and his smile fades, “didn’t you read the information sheet we sent you? We expected you to read it thoroughly and answer the questions truthfully.”

“I have no idea what you talk about,” you reply, “all I got was your E-mail with the flight tickets and hotel reservation. When did you sent me a second E-mail?”

“We sent it per post from the embassy,” Jorrad answers and searches in a tablet you haven’t noticed before, “I have a confirmation. The letter with the documents were sent to Alexis, living in Parker street 22 on August 5th.”

“That’s not my address,” you reply, “I live in Park street 22, not in Parker street 22. I’m not even sure there is a Parker street in my hometown.”

“I … are you sure?” Jorrad asks confused and looks through some files, “but in the documents that your college sent us, it says ... Oh. Now that's embarrassing. Someone is up for a serious spanking. I must apologize, Alexis. It seems our administration office made a little mistake there. There is a second document we sent to you three, but it is very personally, so we prefer to not send it digital. But it obviously went to the wrong address, so, you probably have neither the information nor the filled question sheet with you.”

“Without, you are not allowed to enter the island,” one of the security guards says you strict, “and your time in this room is limited. We need it, when the next plane lands.”

“Are you saying you would sent her away just because of a stupid piece of paper?” Jules asks angry and gently puts her hands on your shoulder, “it isn’t her fault your desk jockeys can’t read.”

“Well, let us try to prevent this,” Jorrad says quickly but obviously nervous, “I will give you a short summarization about the ****-system. It is really simple. Slavery has never been fully abolished in on Naruda. It is rather on a voluntary base now. When turning 18, citizens have to choose to become a master or a ****. Same goes for tourists over 18. Masters and slaves have to make contracts that document their relationship. A **** without a master is taken in by the officials and gets mediated. But he or she can deny any master unsuitable. A **** can have several masters and a master can have several slaves, but having more than three slaves is socially ostracized. It is considered unfair towards masters without slaves.”

“Ok, I understand so far,” you say but hold your head, “and what can these masters do to their slaves? And is there a way to get out of such a contract?”

“To change your status, you need to go to the local officials and sign some documents,” Jorrad explains, “but tourists with a short stay normally don’t do this. As for the other question, a master is allowed to order his or her **** whatever he or she wants. Including painful or humiliation actions. As long as it is not against the law or puts the **** or other person in critical danger. If this is the case, the local police officers are allowed to take the **** in protection and the master is custody. When the **** refuses any allowed orders, the master can decide a punishment, including pain, humiliation or rejection of food and care. If a **** still causes trouble or rebels, we have a special training center where professional **** trainers turn rebel slaves into good and obedient slaves. In worst cases, a judge may order confinement in a training center. But most masters take their rebel slaves their much earlier. The master of a rebel **** is also socially ostracized.”

“That’s a little too much for me right now,” you admit, “can’t I … just enter the island without a master or **** status?”

“No, that’s not allowed,” a security guard says strict, “you only have three options. Master, **** or a flight home.”

“I can’t afford a flight ticket,” you reply, “I couldn’t even be here if the SIN wouldn’t pay for everything.”

“Then you can spend the time until your flight back home in a prison cell,” the other guard replies and moves his hand closer to the handcuffs on his belt, “we are not picky, but we need your answer now. The next flight lands in half an hour and we need the room again.”

What are you? And what are your classmates?
