You look to Barry for your next move

You and Barry spend a few moments between looking at each other and the number on the terminal screen, dumbfounded. Suddenly you hear footsteps outside the door, getting louder. You and Barry both jump, looking to grab any blunt object within reach. Just as gradually the footsteps pass your door, then fade into silence.

Your hand reflexively reaches for your chest and you hunch over in relief.

“We need to get out of here man, somewhere safer,” you say breathlessly.

“Definitely,” Barry agrees, ”I’m going to cash out just enough of your BTC to give us about a hundred grand”

“A Hundred Grand!,” you exclaim, “Do we need that much?”

“I know I’m better at math John but you do realize your literally have a quadrillion dollars in your bank account...”

You return Barry’s mildly annoyed gaze with a sheepish look, “Ok, good point”

“Request an AI Taxi Spartan, that tier is for VIP’s. The vehicle is bulletproof and comes with an armed bodyguard. Then get us the Praxis suite at the Trump-Hilton Grand Palace, you should have the credits available almost immediately.”

Barry really did have this all planned out, you simply do what he suggests, there will be plenty of time for you to plan once situated. The whole thing still seems so surreal. Little did you know this was the tip of the iceberg. Once the preparations are complete you and Barry begin to remove the barricade from your front door. In the process you notice a plastic container lid on the floor from the ransacking you returned to, what catches your attention is an almost needle sized hole in it, maybe bigger. Odd but not ground breaking, you continue your task of clearing your front door and peek out before dashing down the hall to the elevator and riding it to ground level.
