Will it get worse?
You know it! - Pant problem
Jake walked back into the kitchen, feeling completely exposed. He’d hoped to avoid Yuna, but there was no turning back now. His shorts were already halfway off, and his embarrassment was only getting worse.
“Jake, maybe you should help out in the kitchen before the rush?” Yuna suggested, noticing how awkward he looked.
"Yeah... good idea," Jake said nervously, heading over to the donut glazing conveyor belt. He hoped staying busy would distract him from how exposed he felt.
As he started to do a little shimmy to the beat of his favorite song playing on the speakers, trying to ease the tension, he didn’t notice his shorts getting caught in the conveyor. Suddenly, he felt a strong tug at his waistband.
“Shit! Yuna, help!” Jake cried as his shorts began tearing. He struggled as the machine pulled at them, but it was too late—the shorts were ripped to shreds and swallowed by the conveyor.
Jake stood there, his face bright red, in nothing but his boxers. Yuna and Miguel, a nearby baker, couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
“Oh my god!” Yuna giggled, clutching her stomach. “You seriously just...”
Jake covered his face with one hand. “This is not happening…”
Miguel, still laughing, clapped Jake on the back. “Well, don’t worry, man. Daniel's let us work in our underwear before.”
“Really?” Jake asked, his voice edged with sarcasm.
“Nope,” Yuna said with a grin, “but it would’ve been funny if it was true.”
Jake sighed, glancing toward the front of the shop, where a group of customers had just walked in and were staring at him in surprise.
“Oh great... now everyone can see me like this,” Jake muttered, his face even more flushed with embarrassment.
Yuna snorted as she tried to calm herself. “You’re fine. Just—uh—stay back here. We don’t need a repeat of last time.”
But just as Jake was about to respond, a group of customers walked in, making it impossible to avoid the front.
“Are you serious?!” Jake groaned, his face turning crimson. “I can't serve anyone like this!”
Yuna walked up to the customers, back to her work ethic, and same with Miguel who began baking again like nothing was wrong. Jake rushed to the back, where he’d pray nothing else would happen…
