You just shop for groceries

Ah, Grocery Shopping its not the most fun thing to do but its a good time killer.

Though as you shop you are pleasantly delighted to find yourself picking up various ingredients for a variety of recipes you have memorizes in your head. You used to seriously hate cooking with a passion and would often just grab the store bought frozen microwave dinners, and the only thing you could really make was a burnt spaghetti or some cheap steak. Now you absolutely love cooking for yourself and others as well. Souffles, Quiche, Vegetarian Pizza and varieties of baked goods are only a handful of the recipes you can now concoct from scratch.

You pass by the old junk foods you were always stuffing in your shopping cart when you were a guy and make a face. "Yup you actually watch what you eat now!"

No more store bought Top Ramen for you, hell you can make your own ramen noodles now and a spicy thai sauce to boot, and what would Grandmother think of you buying that old junk? She actually grew up and China and lived with you and your parents until you were 16. Since you were a little girl you were always by her side helping her cook those traditional Chinese dishes, and those recipes she made were then passed on down to you.

A tear forms in your eye thinking of Grandmother Lui and how much you miss her, then then you suddenly remember your own Grandfather, no not your grandfather from china who died when you were 3, but the grandfather who gave you the pens that allowed you to become the you that you are now. You can't believe how distant those memories are too, like they didn't even happen to you, but to someone else kind of like you saw it in a movie not actually experienced it.
