You help him

Derek approaches your car and you give him the tools and spare tire. You insist on helping, much to his annoyance, but he lets you. To his surprise, you are actually quite helpful. You may not know how to change a tire, but you have steady hands and know your tools. You shave significant time off the process. The once terribly upset Tori now smiles at you and Derek and gives an excited cheer.

"Thank you both for working so hard for my sake," she says.

You and Derek both try to subtly out-humble the other, then Derek departs. You continue on your way to drop off Tori at her house.

You make decent time, but you still feel guilty for the time lost. Maybe you could make it up to her somehow? Of course she also might prefer you to mind your business.
