My child,you have exceeded my expectations. To think you would pray and reach me. You hear a voice inside your head. It sounds strangely comfortable and soothing for you,although it's voice seems to be very uncomfortable for your host.

You see,while he's a parasite just like you he didn't achieve it himself. As such his willpower didn't develop like yours and he's still very much a worm,he won't be able to take over the paladin like you did.If the paladin keeps begging for Anari's help we'll be in trouble. We're not in a position to attract attention,especially from the gods.

I see,it's true that when it comes to a direct confrontation I stand no chance.But then what should be done? I can't just dump him back into the cave can I?

True,I'll just let him stay in the paladin's body then. He can just stay inside,parasitizing her body should be enough for now to help him grow. With enough time hopefully he'll be able to grow and take over someday. But before that I'll have him stay silent inside her.

Is that really necessary? I don't think any gods have noticed our presence.

Anari hasn't noticed because you haven't done anything big.She has a lot of worshippers,many of them leave her service every moment and even more join her. Losing one paladin among many won't attract her attention,but she'll notice eventually if the paladin keeps begging her for help.Having him try now would just expose us.

I guess as a god you know much more things than me in this world huh.Fine then,we'll have it your way. But how do you plan on getting me stronger? I don't think I'll get stronger in the way you want.I can't fight on my own.

Your ability is good enough,we just need to develop it by having you level up. Find a dungeon,that's an efficient place. Kill everything inside a dungeon,disregard your host's safety and just focus on leveling up. Adventurers dying in a dungeon is hardly a rare thing so that's one way you can kill freely without being discovered. I won't be able to speak to you much longer,don't expect to hear from me anytime soon. In the meantime direct your prayers at me as often as you can,it'll help in the long run.

Okay,I'll go to the dungeon then. Getting stronger has always been my goal.
