You have a date with her
You had arranged to go on a date with her and where on your way to the arcade to meet her as she closed the shop. Trixie had already put the closed sign up as she went about turning off the arcade and cleaning up a bit, she had no idea what sort of date you had planned for her or when you would arrive as you simply said after closing.
