You had better find a doc first.

First things first, you know the only real option is to get rid of the tracking device. Sifting through the information on your computer you quickly find 4 places you are sure can do the job, and now that you have the cash, any should be a fine choice. Then again you also find the contact details of your fixer named Max, but if you call him you will either have to explain how you got his number or explain how you turned into a girl.

“I just need a doc.” You say finally and make your way to the doc's office that is farthest from the center of the city, rationalizing that with the map swap you did to hide the bug that will put anyone trying to find you the most trouble. It takes a while to get there, but you do without incident.

As you head up to the old looking building with the heavy steel door, a voice calls out across an intercom. “Can I help you?”

“Ya I need a doc, I have a piece of unwanted cybernetics I need removed. Can you help me?”

“Cash only.” You answer by pulling a bundle of $10,000 out of the case and show it to the camera that is watching you. As soon as you do the door starts buzzing, and you pull it open with a click. You pass down a long hall to a second heavy door. It clicks open as you arrive and a man is standing there to greet you, “I don't think I know you. How did you find out about my place?”

“I got your number from an elf named Lynx.” You say, not exactly lying, considering you were Lynx and had the number in your head.

“Lynx eeh? Who does he work for?”

“Max I believe.” You answer. Then add, “Now if we are done with 20 questions I have a tracking device in me I really want removed, and disabled.”

“The device is active?” He asks, a concerned look on his face. You nod. “Step into the scanner, now.” He insists and points at a small cubicle that is very similar to a walk in shower. He clicks some switches and types a bit into a computer before saying, “It is in your arm. I can get at it pretty easy, say $5000 to remove or half that to just fry it, painful but effective.”

“Just take it out.” You answer. He pulls you out of the scanner, sits you on the large metal table, and gets to work with a laser scalpel and a pair of long thin rods with tiny grabbing clamps on the end. All in all it takes him less than 10 minutes and it is basically painless. Once it is done you open the case and pull out a bundle of money and hand him half, saying, “Thanks.”

You can tell he was looking and saw the rest of your money as, while putting the payment in his safe, he looks back at you saying, “Now you know if you have some more cash I have several upgrades you might be interested in.”

“Like what?” You ask.

“Well I have quite a bit actually, I can let you take look at the list of my more popular upgrades, or you can tell me what you are looking for and how much you have if you are in a hurry.” Just then the little buzzer sounds indicating that someone is outside. He pulls up the visual for the camera on his screen and you can't help but be curious and look over his shoulder. As he asks, “Can I help you?” You instantly recognize the man at the door. It is that damned German guard from the place you robbed along with what looks like a dozen or more armored guards. He found you.
