Chapter 9

What's next?
You gradually begin to feel guilty during the trip.
You find yourself carefree and happier than you've ever been as you and Terri make your way through the airport, security and onto the plane. It's a small one with two seats on one side and three on the other. Terri and you are together in the short side. The plane is rather cold, so you get a blanket to cover both of you and push up the armrest between to snuggle.
Terri gives you a quick kiss then falls asleep almost immediately afterward. You look at the magazine and the Sky Mall catalog intrigued by all the ridiculous things you could buy. Recounting the day's events pulls up the memory of the broken orb and the switch, then of you and Jackie-in-Terri's-body alone in the church sanctuary pledging you own vows to each other.
You wonder how she is doing and handling pretending to be Terri. It shouldn't be too hard since she could just head home, and only Judy would be there until tomorrow. They probably would only see each other briefly as Judy prepares for her trip. Jackie would mainly be alone.
At this you become melancholy and wish you could call her right then and there. Unfortunately, it will be well over an hour before the plane lands in Green Bay. This depresses you further. However, Terri shifts and snuggles up closer causing you to look into her face, actually the face of Jackie that Terri is now behind. She looks so beautiful. You kiss her forehead and hug her with the arm she's leaning on and around her shoulders.
"But this isn't really Jackie," you think. "I can pretend all I want with her, but Jackie's not really here."
You remember what happened in the limo, and guilt begins to build. You can blame it on the **** or maybe the great acting that had both of you fooled. Really, though, it was your desire from the excitement you felt knowing it was Terri. You convinced yourself it was OK because it was Jackie's body. Maybe that was wrong. Maybe it isn't Jackie that you love but just her physical form.
The differences that Terri did come to mind and how you thought it would be interesting to make love to Terri with her own body. Perhaps you aren't in love but just lusting. Or is it because you know Jackie is in Terri's body that you want it. The whole process leaves you confused thinking you've abandoned your true love, Jackie.
"NO! you tell yourself as tears form in your eyes. You've been married for only a few hours and already you're cheating, but you're not sure with which woman due to teh switch.
The sky outside is brilliant blue with the sun pushing light from behind across the tops of the overcast clouds below you. These bright little hills and gloomy gray long valleys slide below you. Right now you are in one of those valleys trying to find a way to climb out into the sunshine. Your revulsion of your actions almost makes you push Terri away. You do lift your arm which obviously makes her cold as she pulls the blanket and squeezes tighter against you. Now you feel even more guilty taking out your anger and apprehension on her, so you put your arm back. She sighs contentedly when you do. A sigh just like Jackie, and from here on until it can be fixed, you know you will treat her just like Jackie. That thought actually eases your pain even though you know that you will sense a little guilt riding with you until Jackie can be reunited with her body and you confess everything to her, especially your love, and hope she forgives you.

Wedding Day Swap
Your bride swaps bodies with someone you know
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! Premise: You are Gerry (Gerald) Duncan, a 28 year old software developer in good physical health. Today is your wedding day - you are marrying Jackie (Jacqueline) Driscoll, a beautiful woman you've dated since college. Due to an accident with a mysterious wedding gift, Jackie switches bodies with another member of the wedding party shortly before the wedding. The three of you decide to keep the swap secret and go through with the ceremony and honeymoon, hoping to find a way to reverse the transformation later. Themes: Throughout the story the characters will have to deal with the ramifications of the swap. Can Gerry and Jackie carry on their relationship secretly, hiding the swap from everyone else. How will they handle the honeymoon? The early days of the marriage? How will the person in Jackie's body handle this? What about Gerry & Jackie's hopes to quickly have a child? One aspect of the transformation makes the victims comfortable in their new bodies, i.e. they won't go crazy at the shock of the change. I leave it up to the individual author whether or not they gain anything else from the switch (access to skills, memories, knowledge, personality traits, etc.).
