You go on a hike...

You told Alicia that you wanted to go on the hike with Heather, besides it was a nice day out and some fresh air out to do you good. That said you told her you had a hiking spot you really had wanted to check out. It was a bit of a drive but you explained it to Heather and Alicia and really had them sold on it. Living in Washington you had one of the only nation's rainforests. Years ago when you were just a horny pre-teen you had been lucky enough to find a real version of Kaa. He could hypnotize and everything, you kept him as a pet for many years but eventually released him out to the rainforest some years prior to college. Occasionally over the years you would go back and check on him but had never told anyone about it. Seeing how a talking, hypnotizing snake seemed a little out of the ordinary story that you should divulge. But the girls didn't need to know all that. You just explained that you had once been out there and there was some really cool spots you would love to take them to. No one questioned anything as it was unlike you to get excited for a hike so it was a nice change of pace.

When we got there we parked and started our way in, it was already about 11:30am and the heat was starting to set in. You guys locked up the car, put on your backpacks which were full of lunch supplies and escaped underneath the thick canopy of trees where the temperatures were at least 20 degrees cooler. You walked along the route leading the way you could best remember. Usually Kaa knew your scent and if you could manage getting close he would end up finding you. The girls were behind you chatting about work while walking and even through the canopy of the trees you could tell everyone was starting to sweat a little. I had cooked up a plan in my head of what I was going to do once we got there but it was going to be difficult to tell Kaa to stay away until called upon without freaking out the girls. Eventually the girls got tired and it was decided we would stop for lunch and just as we decided on a good clearing right next to a large tree I saw Kaa scurrying near. I told the girls to set up but that I wanted to go look around a bit more as we were near one of the cool spots I knew. As I walked away I made a pointed motion to have Kaa follow me. After getting a good distance away from the girls and behind some trees I began talking to Kaa and explaining to him my dasterdly plan. That I was going to surprise them with him and I wanted him to hypnotize them when they "Opened their eyes". And for the rat in my backpack he happily agreed.

After I got back we had lunch and I told them I had found a really cool spot that I wanted to surprise them so they would need to close their eyes and I would navigate them through to the spot. There was a good bit of groaning out of both of them but after some arm twisting I finally got both of them to agree to it. And so I led them out into the forest, pretty deep where no one would bother us and I told them to close their eyes. I moved them around to where Kaa was located and he made his way down to right in front of them. So he could look them straight in the eyes. I told both girls, "Ok so this may be a little scary at first but I want you to stay relaxed and trust that I am going to make sure nothing happens to you." And with that Kaa started up his eyes, I made extra sure to keep my glance away as I had made that mistake before. I stood over Kaa's right so I could watch the whole thing and I told the girls they could remove their hands from their eyes.
