You get the drop on them

They try to hit back, but you are too good of a pilot to let it happen. Another shot. And an explosion. As finally the shield is no longer there. Then finally they surrender.

From the entire of the gang it is only the captain who survived the onslaught. It turned out the shot caused a lot more damage than it seemed. For a couple hours you try to get information out of him. But you fail. You take a deep breath, and listen to Mission's suggestion about she trying it. She succeeds breaking the guy in about ten minutes.

The pirate confirms that is was them who boarded the ship that sent the distress call. By now the crew is on the planet you first visited, spending the rest of their lives in slavery as you suspected. Thanks to the local laws you cannot do anything. However... As you speak to him you realize that part of his mind was erased blank. It is either the Jedi or the Sith who can do something like that. Your gut tells you the former.

You go through the damaged ship's computer. There are three destinations they visited after they dropped off the crew on the planet. One is a cargo ship where they traded the valuables for booze. Second is a space station where they docked to get some repairs. The third one is another planet in this sector. One that cherishes the love of latex and heavy bondage.

But of course now your objective is pretty much complete here. Thus you could turn back, and live rest of your life as you see fit.
