You get stuck

You force but no matter what you do, you don’t manage to free yourself and get through.

Even worse, you realize that you are stuck both ways and you can’t even get out of there by crawling back.

You are awkwardly stuck there between both sides waiting for someond to come free you, and, as a matter of fact, you start hearing footsteps coming in your direction.
