You find yourself... and Ivona

"I hear your breathing out in the hall, come in and say whatever it is the War Mother told you to say so that you may be gone back to your celebration."

The echoes of a familiar voice beckon to you from far away, almost back where you "awoke", but when you spin around to acknowledge the faint voice, you find yourself there already. Literally. You're standing at the end of the hall, only a few dozen feet from Ivona's room, and you see yourself standing outside.

It's your recollection from that morning. The phantom Sabine is wearing her robes, her crimson hair falls loose about her shoulders, and you can see that she is struggling with a decision. You scolded your sister that morning, that you only vaguely remember why, now. There was a fight the previous day, and this seemed to be little more than an extension of it. You'd hardly had time to think about the words you'd exchanged, seeing as how hell was unleashed soon thereafter and you were on the run ever since, but witnessing the scene now... if you'd only known that you wouldn't see Ivona again, maybe you would have offered sympathetic words instead.

"I am in no mood for another one of your tantrums..."

Your dream-self reacts the same way you did then. Of course, this is a memory... but also a dream...

Maybe you could change things this time? Go to them, explain that you were wrong to confront Ivona with anger. Maybe if you unburden yourself of the guilt weighing your heart, you'd be better prepared to face the demon inside you now?

Or maybe this is a trap? A waste of time, or worse, a way to trick you into lowering your guard so that your dreams can be turned against you?
