You find out and get an ally.

"Not much happened while you were unconscious, you were only out for a few minutes" Annabel says sniffing and wiping tears away.

"Cal has been taken away, and we will decide what to do with him at a later time. Whatever spell you cast on him was...uh...effective" Lira tells you.

"Why does he think I've ruined his life" you ask standing up "I mean...I get it. I beat him and he clearly has a thing for Lina, but this seems to have a deeper meaning for him".

"We used to play together when we were children. He always told me I was going to be his wife...and at first I thought it was cute and liked how it made me feel. That there was someone who liked me and wanted a future with me..." Lina pauses.

"But" you ask to keep her explaining.

"But...as we grew older he started saying how one day he'd change things, and he'd talk about all the stuff he'd do when he was king. As if I were just a tool for his ascension to power. I punched him in the face, and told him he could go fuck himself and I didn't want to ever talk to him again" she explains. You see Lira smirk and hold back a chuckle when Lina said had punched him.

"He didn't care though...he said one way or another he'd get what he wanted. I never spoke to him again and I've avoided any interaction with him. Even if he won this tournament I wasn't going to pick him" she says clenching her fists angrily, and suddenly looks sad. "I never thought it was more than just talk...I should have said something" she says looking almost pleadingly at Yvette. You can tell she's holding back tears. Yvette immediately pulls her into a hug.

"No one knew. You can't predict what a delusional person will do, and it isn't your fault. I won't lie and say I wasn't scared, but I am ok now. It is ok now" Yvette says soothingly. Lira and Aella put their hands on Lina's shoulders reassuringly as the large woman leans down to hug Yvette back and cry on her shoulder.

"Where did you go" you hear Nadine ask you gently as you watch amused at the large woman being consoled by the much smaller woman.

"What do you mean" you ask already knowing what she's referring to.

"You were here. Alive and breathing in Yvette's lap...but...but you weren't there. Not really. It was like you were a shell just laying there...and that spell...you released so much magic into it that even though I tried to block you from my senses I felt like I couldn't see or hear anything until you collapsed. How are walking right now" she asks. She looks like she wants to hug you, but resists as if almost afraid.

"Um...when I hit Cal with that pleasure spell I didn't hold back...I was worried if I did that it wouldn't be enough so I made sure it was. When I lost consciousness I opened my eyes and was with Remi and Ziva. Apparently she helped Remi bring me here" you tell her as you pull her into a hug. She initially tenses up, but quickly hugs you back. "They wanted to warn me" you add. You noticed Lira, Aella, and Lina perk up when you mentioned Ziva.

"About what" Dawn asks. You let out a sigh.

"The other gods are now aware of my presence. They said some will be content with watching me, other's might try to influence me, and one might even try to destroy me" you respond.

"Auin" Dawn responds earning concerned nods from the group. You look at her confused.

"Auin is the god of laws and order. He is diametrically opposed to Remi, and also jealous that Zavi has chosen Remi as her husband. He and Remi have never gotten along, and there are many stories of the two of them fighting battles or influencing mortals to anger the other. Auin would destroy you just because of your relation to Remi. The only fortunate part is Auin has no means of destroying you himself" Dawn explains.

"Why can Auin not do anything directly" you ask.

"There are many versions of the story, but they all have the same outcome. Remi tricked Auin into breaking one of his own laws. Auin, being who he is, imprisoned himself in the heavens. All the stories suggest it is until a cataclysmic event occurs. That doesn't stop Auin from being able to influence mortals or the other gods in the mean time though" Dawn replies.

"Well that's awesome" you say giving Nadine a final squeeze and letting her go. "There would be a deeper meaning to their warning, wouldn't there be Nadine" you ask her as she wipes a tear away nodding her head. Now it is the rest of the groups turn to look confused, though if Dawn is she doesn't show it.

"What would that deeper meaning be" Lira asks. You note the concern in her voice.

"I suppose if the goal is to be in an alliance with you then you should know what we know" you reply and then bring her up to speed on what brought you this far south. Lira, Lina, and Aella listen carefully as you tell them how you arrived and the obstacles you've faced since you've been here, which includes the secretive group that wants to capture you.

"So the deeper meaning, whoever these people that are trying to capture you are, is that it is likely they were able to detect your display of power" Lira says nodding to herself.

"Whether Remi and Ziva were concerned about that or not, it would indeed be the deeper meaning to the warning" you reply.

"It would be unlikely for them to be able to pinpoint where he was in that moment since it was so brief, but odds are they know it came from the south, and likely they wouldn't be the only ones to have noticed" Nadine adds. Lira nods and appears to be thinking deeply for a moment before replying.

"It would seem my ancestors were right about outsiders bringing trouble" she smirks. You can only shrug in response. She isn't wrong.

"That said. I find you and your people to be honorable and dedicated to each other. Each of you were ready to spring into action to help save Yvette, and even Yvette kept her wits with a sharp blade to her throat to help save herself. Nor can I ignore the benefits you would bring to us. The Amazon spirit is not limited to just the Amazons it would seem, and I can not disregard honor and courage when I see it. Therefore..." Lira begins speaking louder so the crowd can hear "We the Amazon people stand with your people as one. Your enemies are our enemies, and our enemies are yours. May mother Ziva guide us all, and now, let us get this celebration underway finally" she exclaims. The crowd who had been silently watching and waiting burst into a cheer, and you watch as the celebration finally gets underway as everyone sets to grabbing food and drink. People with instruments begin playing throughout the village, and you can see people begin to dance and laugh. You extend your hand to Zira, but she bats it away and pulls you into a hug squeezing your head into her breasts. You could get used to Amazon hugs pretty quickly you think to yourself.

Zira holds you tightly for a moment, and then invites your group to follow her so she can show you her favorite food and drinks.
