You finally arrive

As your retinue unpacks their supplies, you sit in the Eseni Khan’s yurt overlooking the ongoings. Conversing with this old Khan has proven to be quite pleasant, as he has certainly has the wise charisma of an old, content man. However, you can't help but notice the dilapidated state of his retinue. With some bloodriders sporting beards almost as gray and lengthy as his, it seems age has made the old Khan content in his state. However, his son has made it nothing but clear of his ambitious nature. As soon as you and your banners had arrived at the Eseni court, he had bowed and kissed at your feet while offering you usage of his many slaves. He seemed dead-set on being present in the war chamber and would stop at nothing to ingratiate himself with you.

As both of you discuss the current political situation, you spot a young woman approach on a horse as the conversation lulls. She hops off nimbly and runs towards the Khan. You see the Khan's face light up as he embraces what you assume to be his daughter. He chuckles as he holds her within his arms, lively conversing in their tongue. A bit shocked by this brazen show of affection, you sit back a bit awkwardly and clear your throat. Immediately, the pair seem to remember your presence. Turning towards you, the Khan pushes his daughter off his lap and gestures to her. She makes a halfhearted attempt at a curtsy.

"Ah yes, this is my daughter Astana. She would be most welcome to show you to your personal quarters."

He throws her a questioning glance as.

"I will let you retire to your rest, milord."

As you rise to greet the maiden, you notice the proud gaze that meets your eye. This was no meek female who would be so easily cowed into submission. As you glance over the rest of her body, you see that despite her warrior lifestyle, her shape remains quite feminine. The leather material of her clothes hugs her toned, yet curvy body and accentuates her fitness.

Catching you staring in the moment, her eyes flash with disgust momentarily, before glazing over with begrudged politeness once more. She gestures to follow with a dip of her head and you and your guard stumble off towards the rest of the camp.
