You dream of Ms. K

When you finally go to sleep, you dream of the person you fear the most.

In the dream, you are tied to a chair naked, in a otherwise featureless white room. Before you stands Ms. K, the mysterious mistress who has taken over your life.

She is as beautiful as ever, dressed in a slinky nightgown, standing over you.

"I know what you did, John. I know that Simon has failed me and you have generously punished him for me." She states, sternly but not particularly angry.

"On one hand, I am annoyed by this frustration. On the other hand, I can't help but be impressed by your move. I didn't think you had it in you, John."

Ms. K puts her hand on her chin in contemplation.

"Now I wonder what I should do with you. From a certain point of view, you have proven yourself not as broken and weak as I thought. Perhaps I can still use you, reward you for your success by giving you a better deal under me, a proper position as my minion?...But from another point of view, you have insulted me by thwarting me and overthrowing Simon. That act of defiance...Perhaps that deserves punishment...?"

You stay silent, dreadfully awaiting her judgement.
