Not able to back down you accepted the challenge. You knew your chances of winning against was next to none. But it was too late to back down now. “I accept” you told her. “Good then let’s just get this settled you two” Ashley said. “What’s the rules” Duncan asked Ashley. Thinking off the top of her head “whoever gets dunked underwater first loses”. Great you thought, another game where you’d probably be underwater again. “Sounds good to me” Duncan told her while looking down at you knowing he’d win. Trying to get this over as soon as possible you got ready.

You both reached your arms toward each other. “3, 2, 1 and go” Ashley announced again. He didn’t even rush towards you but rather just walked towards you. You both locked hands with his strength providing a clear advantage for him. Pushing down against your hands it felt like he was playing uncle. You let out a little yelp of pain as you did your best to getting your footing stable. Ashley was smiling from the corner of your eye. She clearly was rooting for Duncan in this whole exchange the way she was looking at him.

You managed to push back against him by jumping lightly in the water. He caught on to your jumping and rushed towards you and placed his hands on you in a way to lift you up with help from your jumping. One hand placed on your chest and another on your stomach. He quickly launched his arms in the air lifting you high above his head. He held you there for a bit to further humiliate you in front of Ashley. You couldn’t believe how fast he lifted you up. You saw Ashley laugh at your predicament. “Oh my god Duncan how are you so strong” she asked cheerfully while you remained dazed in the air.
