You do not allow this to ruin your life

"No," you tell yourself raising your head and stopping the tears. "Not like this."

You rub your tears away. There are the occasional involuntary sobs but you put on a brave face and look at Jessie with more confidence than you have had in a long time, "we're still having a baby."

Jessie, who had been comforting you as well as he could, simply looks at you not comprehending your words, "what?"

"Get the doctor. We're leaving," you tell him.

"But..." your glare at him and there is no further argument.

Within hours you are already signing paper work, the first in many more to come, at the orphanage. You will be adopting a **** child. It does not matter how the child came into this world, they deserve the same chance for a loving home as any other.

Years later Jessie and you have adopted three children who were the products of **** and have a daughter of your own. You love them all. You have even started your own foundation dedicated to helping children brought into this world against their mother's will. It may have started out as the worst and darkest part of your life but for all the joy you have now with kids of your own and helping others, you would not have it any other way.
