You defend the city

In the throne room, Sindel is looking out of the windows toward the city gate that has been destroyed

Guard: Empress, they have broken through the gate

Sindel: I can see that, moron

Sindel: You asked for help from the demons, have you completely lost your mind, Shoa

Mileena: I'm gonna join them mother. The rest of the cursed ones are already down there; I will not abandon them

Kitana: I will go too, it is my duty as princess to protect the innocent

Sindel: I should be down there

Kitana: Mom, if something happens to you, it's over

Sindel: That's the only reason I'm not down there

Mileena: We can't leave Mom all alone here; what if they break through

Sindel: I'm not alone here, remember

Sindel looks at Aerith and Mash, who are also still here

Aerith: And we're not too happy about it

Sindel: Your leader said you two were the best to keep me safe

Aerith: Because I know healing spells, and Mash is a defensive class

Mash: Doesn't mean we like the fact that we have to protect someone who has sent people to try and kill us

Sindel: Then you shouldn't have entered my kingdom

Cloud: I completely agree with that

Aerith: Shut up, you should be glad you're only chained to the throne and put back in your cell

Cloud: I won't run away again

Mileena: Because you don't have the energy for it, afterall all the cursed ones have drunk some of your blood

Cloud: You'll bleed me dry

Mileena: No, I won't. I'll keep you alive, we'll need your blood to make sure all those infected by the Tarkat virus will stay sane, so they won't turn into mindless monsters

Sindel: Enough, go

Mileena and Kitana run out of the throne room to join the battle in the city

Meanwhile, in the city

Byleth: Well, there goes the plan

Aiden: No, the plan worked Skarlet got rid of Shoa's army, we just didn't count on demons

Tanya: You guys are way too calm for this

Jade: We need to do our job

Tanya: I'm not listening to you, traitor

Jade: Oh, shut up, this isn ot the time

Tifa: What's with them? Aren't they on the same side

Aiden: I don't know, but right now we're all on the same side

You wait for someone to walk through the now-destroyed gate, but instead demonic beasts fly over the wall

Jade: DEMONIC BEASTS

Jessie: Why even bother to destroy the gate when they can just fly over

Aiden: No clue but here they come. We can't let them near the castle

Aiden: ZOLTRAAK

ZOLTRAAK: A simple spell that shoots multiple small blasts of concentrated mana

The blasts hit some of the flying beasts, not enough to kill them, but enough to get their attention

Jade: HERE THEY COME

A demonic flying beast lands in front of Jessie, and she immediately starts shooting at it with her magic guns

Jessie: COME HERE YOU OVERGROWN LIZARD

Jessie starts shooting the eyes of the beast while dodging its attack. She is able to take out the right eyes but as she tries to go for the other eyes, the beast jumps at her and is about to flatten her when Sonya tackles her down, so the beast misses them both

Jessie: Thanks

Sonya: No problem

Before the beast can even attack them again, its left eyes are shot out by Cassie

Jessie: damn i'm glad my spare guns aren't being wasted on you

Sonya: I was an adventurer like you who also used magic guns; I've taught Cassie everything I know

Cassie: We're going home, no matter what. I don't care that we have to fight some demonic beasts; it's actually quite exciting

Sonya: Enjoy it while you can, your father will never allow us out of the house again once we're home

the now blind demonic beasts start roaring and an orb forms in its mouth

Cassie: FUCK, NOT GOOD

Jessie: TIFA SHUT IT'S MOUTH

Tifa comes running towards the demonic beasts

Tifa: FOCUSED STRIKE

Tifa's foot catches fire, and she kicks the demonic beast underneath its bottom jaw. While it doesn't closes it's mouth, it sends the entire head of the beast up, causing the beam to shoot completely into the air

Tifa: We can do this

Cassie: WATCH OUT

Suddenly, a three-headed demonic beast starts breathing fire as it flies over the city

Tanya: This is too much, we already have our hands full with the normal demonic beasts

Aiden: someone is riding it

Aiden: Reiko, you wanted revenge on Shoa, right

Reiko: I want nothing more

Aiden: Then can I count on you to kill him? It is most likely that he will soon enter the battlefield

Reiko: I promise I'll kill him

Aiden: Then do it; I'll take care of that three-headed beast

Baraka: You're not gonna fight Shoa alone, you have your back, brother

Reiko: Thanks. Let go

The three-headed demonic beast lands on a building

Aiden: DORAGATE

DORAGATE: Converts rocks into bullet projectiles that can be directed at a target

You shoot the rock bullets at the three-headed demonic beast

Reaper: Would you look at this, someone wants to play, fine with me

Reaper: DEVOUR HIM!

The beast gets in the air and flies towards you as you summon the SWORD OF THE CREATOR into your hands

The moment one of his heads tries to eat you, you slice your sword into its mouth, killing it while the entire beast crashes to the ground in confusion

As you get up, you come face to face with the demon that rode it

Reaper: You killed one of its heads, you fucker. You're gonna regret that

The beast gets up and starts flying again, leaving you alone with Reaper

Reaper: I'm gonna enjoy killing you

Aiden: give it your best shot

You run at the demon, and your weapons collide
