...You decide to keep her around

You ponder your choices for a few seconds, before coming to the conclusion that you're going to keep her around. "I'm sorry," you say, as you dress yourself, "W-wait what?!" she yells, her anger rising, "you promised me you'd let me leave." You look at her and frown, "look I said I'm sorry, please don't make this any harder," you say as you point to the door, "stay in front of me."

You lead her out of the building and down the street, towards Sanctuary and eventually arrive. Your house, still standing but damage from the years, makes you smile as it pops into view. You lead her inside, make her sit against a wall and search your house carefully, in case anyone has decided to call this home. Your house has been ransacked, but at least it's still in one piece, unlike your neighbor's house.

"What are you planning on doing with me," she asks, "I-I don't know, I guess I'll think about it." She frowns at your idea, "Well can you at least remove this tape?" she says, flexing the tape on her hands, "No." you reply back. You pick her back up and lead her house to house, searching for supplies, while watching her carefully. Though each house has been thoroughly looted, you find some food and water, along with medical supplies here and there.

"Why did you pick this place to house me?" she asks, "this place is a dump." You glare at her, "This, this "dump", was my house. This was my hometown, before the war," You angerly respond back, "O-oh." You take a second to calm down and think about what you should do from here. Obviously keeping this girl around will mean you'll need more supplies, along with a place to keep her, but maybe she'll have a use.

"Y-you, raiders sometimes come through here. If we're going to stay h-here, you might want to fortify this place," she says under her breath as you tidy your house up. If she's right, you can't take that lightly you think to yourself. You remember the incident with the raiders the previous night, along with the promise Dale made when you captured him. But how would you fortify a place like this?

"Well, what do you have in mind?" You ask her, sitting down in front of her, "I use to live in a settlement with a raider problem. T-they used cars and scrap metal to make a wall and it helped stop the raiders." Her idea has some merit, and you know there's enough scrap here to do that and even fix up the holes in your house, but this could take hours and even days, a very time-consuming process.

But at the very least, using some scrap metal to fix your home couldn't hurt. "Alright, you're going to help me with this then, and if you try to escape, I-I'll do something," you say, hoping she won't notice your bluff as you cut off the tape. She nods as you two walk out towards the collapsed house nearby, gathering supplies from it and go to work.

Hours past as you two work together, you watching her carefully. It takes a while but eventually you two have patched up the holes in your house, and she manages to build a makeshift door. You smile at the progress you two made, and even though it's nothing compared to your pre-war home, you're happy. "this is great and all, but you should build a wall, this won't stop raiders," she says as she sits down, exhausted.

Of course, it's getting too late at night to do any more work and your exhausted as well so you two fall asleep, you carefully watching her. The following morning ...
