Chapter 41 by thecoolnametom thecoolnametom

Which event do you set up?

You create a computer game tournament

You see an option for a computer game tournament, which, though appropriate for a gaming convention, sounds a little boring, to be honest. You read a little further through the description. It'd be your typical all-day tournament, with short rounds, a tree bracket, and prizes. Some people watch and treat these sorts of events as regular sports events, but the defaults here are just your regular expected descriptions. You keep scanning the page.

Below the main description there's a spot for "challenges." Some of the options are that each round much be played while standing, or each player must wear headphones with reversed audio, or other silly challenges meant to provide some difficulty for players who are already good at the game and level the playing field of skill for all of the players.

There is an empty text box where you can type in your own option. You think a bit about what you might find fun if you were participating in playing the game, but stop because you know how you're planning on having fun at the expo and it does not involve playing video games. You plan to stick your dick in as many chicks as you can, and that would make it pretty hard to play video games, wouldn't it---

Your fingers almost seem to realize it before your brain does, and they fly over your keyboard.

Each adult character must have an opposite-sex adult partner. Players and their partners must participate in sexual intercourse with each other continuously while playing or be disqualified.

One you're done typing, a green check mark appears next to the text box. That works? At the top of the screen the heart count from your pass appears, but nearly all of them are crossed out. Apparently the heart cost for this event is a tad prohibitive.

There's a spot where you can also have side bonuses for players, usually for those who show good initiative or inventiveness during a game, or who randomly happen to have their character wander into pre-selected areas by luck.

Each time a player or their partner cums they receive extra bonus points to make up for the loss of focus.

That lowers the heart cost, which is surprising, but it lowers it substantially more than you'd have guessed. Quite a few of the hearts are now back. It'd be helpful if the website would indicate how these items impact the cost! You go back up to the challenge block and add another rule: Partners for each player must change each round. That should make things interesting. The heart cost goes down by another heart, but the cost for the event rises by a thousand dollars. An asterisk notes that it's for cleaning expenses.

There's a final box labeled, Miscellaneous. You're not sure if the magic of the pass will keep the participants (or, more importantly, yourself) out of trouble, so you type, Consensual sexual behavior within the tournament auditorium is always allowed. There, that should keep everyone from getting in trouble unless they're being jerks. Then, thinking of one more way people might get in trouble if they're having sex while playing, you type, Nothing may be worn by anyone participating in the event in any way over the groin.

It seems like you've covered the bases. You're please to note that the page has already checked the Age Requirement: 18+ checkbox for you.

The cash cost includes the licensing fees for the game company as well as for the default cash prizes. You scan for any additional options and see that there's even an option for hiring DJs for background music, which you select. You've never actually seen such a thing and you're not sure if it wouldn't be too distracting to the players, but you figure you've already stretched this event far beyond a regular tournament to begin with. What the hell, why not?

You choose a popular game with a relatively cheap license and schedule a large auditorium for one full day. You figure you'll probably be able to step inside and keep an eye on things throughout the day. Possibly, some player might have need of a partner and you'd be more than happy to help "fill in" for her!

After a bit more busywork on the form you survey the expected damage: it's expected that ticket prices will more than cover the costs and it will also cost all but two hearts. You submit it and are pleased to see it appear on the scheduling section of the website for the expo.

So... now what?

More fun
