You come home to find Roger sitting on the couch with your wife.

It was getting a little dim outside, the sky looking pinkish as the sun set on the horizon. You parked your car and made your way to the apartment. You unlocked the door and walked in, finding your neighbor Roger sitting right next to Alex on the couch. He wore a black button-down shirt, looked like flannel with the top button undone. He was also wearing grey khakis and you couldn't help but notice the bulge between his legs. Roger had brown hair with a few patches of silver, blue eyes, but was clean shaven. Your wife was just in a loose t-shirt and sweatpants, but none of that distracted from her long silky hair and cute eyes that could make any man go weak at the knees. Their legs touched side by side and they were drinking wine and chatting. Even when you had walked in, Roger had been playing with Alex's hair, and she seemed giddy and playful.

"Uhhh, hey guys." You say, not sure what exactly you're looking at.

Roger's eyes brighten and he smiles "Parker! We were wondering when you'd get back from work. Hope the first day went well, I brought a bottle of wine from my cousin's vineyard as a congratulations gift. Lemme pour you a glass." He gets up and walks to your kitchen, and you look at Alex with concern.

"How long have you two been here together?" You ask.

She smiles, "Oh, well Roger's only been here for like an hour or so, give or take. He tried to show up around when you get off work, but you didn't show up at that time. I invited him in because I didn't want to be rude, and we've just been making small talk." You weren't sure if 'small talk' accurately described what you had just walked into, but you didn't think much of it. Soon Roger was back and invited you to sit down. He sat back next to your wife, leaving you with the recliner on the other side of the coffee table to Roger and Alex. You wanted to say something, but you still weren't sure about the different things in this world. Perhaps Roger was just friendly and touchy.
